Anti-BrdU monoclonal antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations prepared via immunizations with Bromodeoxyuridine-KLH followed by hybridoma development.
Specificity
This antibody reacts strongly with BrdU. Cross-reactivity is observed with CldU and IdU.

Usage
Anti-BrdU Antibody has been tested as suitable for immunoblot assays. Antibody may be suitable for additional immunoassays including immunofluorescence, flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry. Antibody will detect incorporated BrdU thymidine analog from replicated cells.

0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, pH 7.2, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.01% Sodium Azide
Storage
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge product before removing cap. Only dilute immediately prior to use.
