Specificity and Use
Bombesin antibody was raised against synthetic frog bombesin conjugated to bovine Thyroglobulin. Crossreactive with human, rat and mouse bombesin.
This Bombesin antibody can be used for the study of endocrine differentiation in tumors of the respiratory tract. Antigen localization: Cytoplasm. Immunogen: synthetic frog bombesin conjugated to bovine Thyroglobulin. Cross-reactive with human, rat and mouse bombesin.
Detection of Bombesin by immunohistochemistry. This antibody can be used for the study of endocrine differentiation in tumors of the respiratory tract. This antibody is suitable for frozen sections and paraffin embedded tissues without proteolytic treatment. Advised working dilution: 1:50. (Based on the Indirect Method, with a normal ABC method the dilution can be 5-10 times higher, but the optimal dilution should be tested by serial dilution. Dilute immediately before use with PBS or Tris. Recommended for positive control: Gut (peripheral nerves), fetal lung.
