Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

BLNK antibody was raised against a fusion protein representing amino acids 171-356 of human BLNK.
aa171-356
BLNK (B cell linker protein) is an adaptor molecule that plays key role in B cell activation initiated by cross-linking the B cell receptor (BCR). This activation leads to an increase in the tyrosine phosphorylation of a number of proteins due to activation of nonreceptor protein tyrosine kinases (PTK) including Syk, which is responsible for the tyrosine phosphorylation of BLNK. BLNK is cytosolic protein identified as two phosphoproteins migrating at 68 and 70 kD in SDS/PAGE (alternatively spliced forms of human BLNK). Mapping of the tyrosine residues in BLNK reveal three tyrosines that bind PLC-gamma2, and two tyrosines that bind the Tec family kinase Btk, the Vav nucleotide exchange factor and the adaptor Nck.

BLNK Antibody, AGM4 Antibody, BLNK-S Antibody, B-cell activation Antibody, B-cell linker protein Antibody, B cell linker protein Antibody, Bca Antibody, Cytoplasmic adapter protein Antibody, LY57 Antibody, SLP-65 Antibody, SLP65 Antibody, B-cell linker Antibody, BASH Antibody

Functions as a central linker protein, downstream of the B-cell receptor (BCR), bridging the SYK kinase to a multitude of signaling pathways and regulating biological outcomes of B-cell function and development. Plays a role in the activation of ERK/EPHB2, MAP kinase p38 and JNK. Modulates AP1 activation. Important for the activation of NF-kappa-B and NFAT.
