  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About BIK

Q13323 NM_001197 NP_001188.1

BIK Antibody, Apoptosis inducer NBK Antibody, Bcl-2-interacting killer Antibody, BP4 Antibody, Apoptosis-inducing NBK Antibody, BIP1 Antibody, NBK Antibody

BIK shares a critical BH3 domain with other death-promoting proteins, such as BID, BAK, BAD and BAX, that is required for its pro-apoptotic activity, and for interaction with anti-apoptotic members of the BCL2 family, and viral survival-promoting proteins. Since the activity of this protein is suppressed in the presence of survival-promoting proteins, it is suggested as a likely target for anti-apoptotic proteins.

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue section of human kidney stained for Bik expression using LS-C148238 at 1:2000. A high level of Bik signal was seen in the distal collecting tubules, the glomeruli are primarily negative. Hematoxylin-Eosin counterstain.
