Recognizes beta-Endorphin (human) and beta-Endorphin (bovine, camel, ovine). Does not react to [Met 5]-Enkephalin, [Leu 5]-Enkephalin, Dynorphin A (1-13), ACTH (rat, human), PTH (1-84) bovine and VIP. Specific for this peptide and is suitable for immunocytochemical detection of bet-Endorphin.
