Description

BCL10 (B-cell lymphoma/leukemia 10) is a cellular homolog of the equine herpesvirus-2 E-10 gene that functions to induce apoptosis by activating CASP9. When overexpressed, BCL10 induces JNK, p38, and NF-kB activation. BCL10 plays an important role in both activating and suppressing adaptive and innate immune signaling by connecting to various CARD scaffold proteins. BCL10 exhibits a variety of mutations in MALT lymphomas and in B and T cell lineage lymphomas and participates in the pathogenesis of various malignancies. In immunohistochemistry of normal tissue, BLC10 has cytoplasmic positivity in most tissues throughout the body. References: The UniProt Consortium. Usage

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B746 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B746 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.
