  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About AZU1 / Azurocidin

P20160 NM_001700 NP_001691.1

AZU1 Antibody, AZU Antibody, AZAMP Antibody, Azurocidin Antibody, CAP37 Antibody, HUMAZUR Antibody, HBP Antibody, Heparin-binding protein Antibody, NAZC Antibody, Neutrophil azurocidin Antibody, Azurocidin 1 Antibody

This is a neutrophil granule-derived antibacterial and monocyte- and fibroblast-specific chemotactic glycoprotein. Binds heparin. The cytotoxic action is limited to many species of Gram-negative bacteria; this specificity may be explained by a strong affinity of the very basic N-terminal half for the negatively charged lipopolysaccharides that are unique to the Gram-negative bacterial outer envelope. It may play a role in mediating recruitment of monocytes in the second wave of inflammation.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of AZU1 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal AZU1 Antibody. 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the AZU1 gene.

Western blot

Western blot
AZU1 Antibody western blot of WiDr cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). The AZU1 antibody detected the AZU1 protein (arrow).
