Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About ASS1 / ASS

P00966 NM_000050 NP_000041.2

ASS1 Antibody, Argininosuccinate synthetase Antibody, ASS Antibody, Argininosuccinate synthase 1 Antibody, CTLN1 Antibody, Citrulline--aspartate ligase Antibody, Citrulline-aspartate ligase Antibody, Argininosuccinate synthase Antibody, Argininosuccinate synthetase 1 Antibody

Arginosuccinate synthetase catalyzes the penultimate step of the arginine biosynthetic pathway. There are approximately 10 to 14 ASS pseudogenes scattered across the human genome; the ASS gene located on chromosome 9 appears to be the only functional gene for argininosuccinate synthetase. The ASS primary transcript is subject to alternative splicing in the 5' non-coding region; a splice variant lacking exon 2 occurs in liver and fibroblast cells.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
ASS1 Antibody immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue followed by peroxidase-conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining.

Western blot

Western blot
ASS1 Antibody western blot of Jurkat cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). The ASS1 antibody detected the ASS1 protein (arrow).

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of ASS1 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal ASS1 Antibody. 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the ASS1 gene.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
ASS1 Antibody flow cytometry of Jurkat cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram). FITC-conjugated donkey-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
