Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
ASIC1 / ACCN2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide located between aa38-87 of human ASIC1 (F8VSK4). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Mouse, Rat, Ferret, Bovine, Elephant, Panda, Rabbit, Horse, Pig, Guinea pig (100%).
Isoform 2 and isoform 3 function as proton-gated sodium channels; they are activated by a drop of the extracellular pH and then become rapidly desensitized. The channel generates a biphasic current with a fast inactivating and a slow sustained phase. Has high selectivity for sodium ions and can also transport lithium ions with high efficiency. Isoform 2 can also transport potassium, but with lower efficiency. It is nearly impermeable to the larger rubidium and cesium ions.
ACCN2 / ASIC antibody Western Blot of 721_B. Antibody dilution: 1 ug/ml. This image was taken for the base form of this product. Alternate forms, such as conjugated, azide-free, or ready-to-use, have not been tested.
