Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
(applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Specificity and Use
KLH-conjugated, synthetic peptide (KAAILLAQVAAR*GR*GR*GMGR*G in which R* denotes symmetric dimethylation of arginine) corresponding to aa99-119 of Small nuclear ribonucleoprotein SmD3.
Recognizes SmD3 at ~16kD, and other proteins that contain arginines that are symmetrically dimethylated. Specificity of symmetrically dimethylated arginine was determined by ELISA with unmodified and symmetrically dimethylarginine containing peptides. Species cross-reactivity: Human and mouse.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot Analysis: 1-2 ug/ml of this lot detected numerous proteins including SmD3 in RIPA lysates from Jurkat cells.
0.1 M Tris-glycine, pH 7.4, 0.15 M sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium azide, 30% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
