About APOM / Apolipoprotein M
APOM / Apolipoprotein M is an apolipoprotein and member of the lipocalin protein family. It is found associated with high density lipoproteins and to a lesser extent with low density lipoproteins and triglyceride-rich lipoproteins. The encoded protein is secreted through the plasma membrane but remains membrane-bound, where it is involved in lipid transport. Alternate splicing results in both coding and non-coding variants of this gene. O95445 NM_019101 NP_061974.2

The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Xu and Dahlbck, J Biol Chem. 1999 Oct 29;274(44):31286-90.; PMID: 10531326). Recommended concentration: 0.3-1 ug/ml.
