Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

APOH / Apolipoprotein H antibody was raised against human beta2-Glycoprotein-I (beta2GP-I) purified from plasma.
Recognizes human beta2GP-I. A single precipitin arc is observed with normal plasma. No arc was seen with beta2GP-I deficient plasma.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2591 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2591 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.

Packaging

About APOH / Apolipoprotein H

P02749 NM_000042 NP_000033.2

APOH Antibody, Apo-H Antibody, Anticardiolipin cofactor Antibody, Apolipoprotein H Antibody, B2GP1 Antibody, B2GPI Antibody, Beta-2-glycoprotein I Antibody, APC inhibitor Antibody, Beta(2)GPI Antibody, BG Antibody, B2G1 Antibody, Beta-2-glycoprotein 1 Antibody

Apolipoprotein H has been implicated in a variety of physiologic pathways including lipoprotein metabolism, coagulation, and the production of antiphospholipid autoantibodies. APOH may be a required cofactor for anionic phospholipid binding by the antiphospholipid autoantibodies found in sera of many patients with lupus and primary antiphospholipid syndrome, but it does not seem to be required for the reactivity of antiphospholipid autoantibodies associated with infections.
