Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

ALPL / Alkaline Phosphatase antibody was raised against 2102Ep human Embryonal Carcinoma Cells. Epitope has not been mapped.
Recognizes human Liver/Bone/Kidney isozyme of Alkaline Phosphatase (AP). Reactivity has also been demonstrated with AP from higher primates (chimpanzee, gorilla, orangutan and gibbon) and Old World Monkeys AP (baboon, rhesus monkey, mangabey, mandrill, Celebese black ape, African green monkey). No reactivity has been observed with New World Monkeys (owl monkey, squirrel monkey), bovine, canine, feline, goat, guinea pig, hamster, mouse, porcine, rabbit, rat, sheep and tiger. Does not cross-react with other isozymes of AP.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Flow Cytometry: 5-20 ug/ml. Positive control: Undifferentiated human embryonic stem cells (H9 line). NTERA-2 cl. D1 whole cell lysate (pluripotent stem cells derived from teratocarcinoma and are considered the malignant counterparts of human embryonic stem cells). The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

About ALPL / Alkaline Phosphatase

P05186 NM_000478 NP_000469.3

ALPL Antibody, Alkaline phosphomonoesterase Antibody, AP-TNAP Antibody, Alkaline phosphatase liver Antibody, APTNAP Antibody, Glycerophosphatase Antibody, Tissue-nonspecific ALP Antibody, TNAP Antibody, HOPS Antibody, Liver alkaline phosphatase Antibody, TNSALP Antibody

There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The first three are located together on chromosome 2, while the tissue non-specific form is located on chromosome 1. The product of this gene is a membrane bound glycosylated enzyme that is not expressed in any particular tissue and is, therefore, referred to as the tissue-nonspecific form of the enzyme.
