Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Aldosterone antibody was raised against aldosterone conjugated to Bovine Serum Albumin.
Recognizes Aldosterone, a steroid hormone from the mineralocorticoid family that is produced in the adrenal gland by the outer-section of the adrenal cortex, to regulate the body's electrolyte and water balance. Aldosterone is synthesized from cholesterol by aldosterone synthase, which is absent in other sections of the adrenal gland. It acts directly on the kidney to decrease the rate of sodium-ion excretion (with accompanying retention of water), and to increase the rate of potassium-ion excretion. Shows less than 0.01% cross-reactivity with Androstenedione, Corticosterone, DHEA and Deoxcorticosterone.
PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
