  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

AHSP / EDRF antibody was raised against anti-AHSP Antibody was produced from whole rabbit serum prepared by repeated immunizations with the full length human AHSP protein.
A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross reactivity with human and mouse. Cross-reactivity with AHSP from other sources have not been determined.
Anti-AHSP Antibody is suitable for western blotting, immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections), immunofluorescence microscopy using paraformaldehyde-fixed primary cardiomyocyte cultures and ELISA. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

0.02 M potassium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide
100 µl deionized water
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles.
For research use only.

AHSP Antibody, EDRF Antibody, Erythroid-associated factor Antibody, ERAF Antibody, Erythroid associated factor Antibody

Acts as a chaperone to prevent the harmful aggregation of alpha-hemoglobin during normal erythroid cell development. Specifically protects free alpha-hemoglobin from precipitation. It is predicted to modulate pathological states of alpha-hemoglobin excess such as beta-thalassemia.

Immunohistochemistry of Rabbit anti-AHSP antibody. Tissue: A. Normal bone marrow, H&E. B. CD235a stains both nucleated EPs and mature, anucleate RBCs. C.
