A 10 AA peptide sequence mapping near the N-Terminus of rat AT II (1). This peptide is predicted to be extracellular. The peptide was coupled with KLH (carrier protein).

The 10aa rat immunogenic peptide is 100% identical in mouse, rat, human, porcine and rabbit. The sequence is the same in all AT II receptor isoforms (Type 1a, 1b and 1c). No sequence homology with other G-protein coupled receptors.
