Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Chicken Polyclonal (IgY) to Rat AGTR1 / AT1 Receptor
Rat, Human, Mouse, Pig, Rabbit
Western blot, ELISA
Rat AGTR1 / AT1 Receptor
Rat, Human, Mouse, Pig, Rabbit (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1 - 10 µg/ml)
ELISA (1:10000 - 1:100000)
Specificity and Use
A 10aa peptide sequence mapping near the N-terminus of rat AT II (1). This peptide is predicted to be extracellular. The peptide was coupled with KLH (carrier protein).
The 10aa rat immunogenic peptide is 100% identical in mouse, rat, human, porcine and rabbit. The sequence is the same in all AT II receptor isoforms (Type 1a, 1b and 1c). No sequence homology with other G-protein coupled receptors.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
PBS, 0.1% BSA.
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Type 1 Angiotensin Receptors (AT1A and AT1B) mediate the major cardiovascular effects of angiotensin II, controlling blood pressure and volume by regulating cell growth, vascular contraction, inflammatory responses, and salt and water retention.
