  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

ACVR1C / ALK7 antibody was raised against a 15 amino acid peptide near the amino terminus of human ACVR1C.
LS-E30569 - Liquid - 50 µg 0.2 mg/ml - $145.00
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3109 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3109 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

PBS, 0.02% sodium azide
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles. Store undiluted.

About ACVR1C / ALK7

Q8NER5 NM_145259 NP_660302.2

ACVR1C Antibody, Activin receptor-like kinase 7 Antibody, ACTR-IC Antibody, Activin receptor type IC Antibody, ACVRLK7 Antibody, Activin receptor type-1C Antibody, ALK7 Antibody, Activin A receptor, type IC Antibody, ALK-7 Antibody

ALK7, a Activin/TGFb type protein kinase, is a member of the Nodal signaling pathway, which is implicated in developmental events such as mesoderm formation and left-right axis specification. ALK7 is a type I receptor that has been shown to collaborate with activin receptor type 2B (ActRIIB). A constitutively active form of ALK7 has been shown to increase phosphorylation of Smad2, a receptor-regulated signaling protein which translocate to the nucleus to activate transcription.
