Recognizes human alpha-smooth muscle isoform of actin. Does not cross-react with actin from fibroblasts (b-and g-cytoplasmic), striated muscle (a-sarcomeric), and myocardium (a-myocardial). Species cross-reactivity: baboon, bovine, rabbit, mouse, rat and chicken.

Usage
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:400 for 20 minutes at RT. No special pretreatment is required for the immunohistochemical staining of formalin/paraffin tissues. Positive control: Smooth muscle or leiomyosarcoma.
