Specificity
Recognizes alpha-smooth-muscle isoform of actin (Mr 43000). Reactivities on cultured stress fibers of smooth muscle-derived cells. Tumors specifically detected: Leiomyosarcoma, leiomyoma, and certain stromal cells surrounding infiltrating ductal carcinoma of breast. Species cross-reactivity: human, bovine, equine, rat, mouse, chicken.

Usage
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue as well as cytological material). Immunohistochemistry: Ready-to-use on frozen sections. Paraffin embedded sections require protease pretreatment prior to antibody application. Incubate 1 hour at RT; extended with paraffin.
