  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

ACE / CD143 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to human ACE/CD143.
Recognizes human ACE/CD143.
Suitable for use in Flow cytometry: Designed to quantitatively determine the percentage of cells bearing CD143 within a population and qualitatively determine the density of CD143 on cell surfaces by flow. cytometry. Washed cells are incubated with the phycoerythrin-labeled monoclonal antibody, which binds to cells expressing CD143. Unbound phycoerythrin-conjugated antibody is then washed from the cells. Cells expressing CD143 are fluorescently stained, with the intensity of. staining directly proportional to the density of expression of CD143. Cell surface expression of CD143 is determined by flow cytometric analysis using 488nm wavelength laser excitation.

1.0 ml of PE-labeled antibody at a concentration of 25 ug/ml
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For research use only.

ACE / CD143 is an enzyme involved in catalyzing the conversion of angiotensin I into a physiologically active peptide angiotensin II. Angiotensin II is a potent vasopressor and aldosterone-stimulating peptide that controls blood pressure and fluid-electrolyte balance. This enzyme plays a key role in the renin-angiotensin system.
