  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

ACCN1 / ASIC2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide located between aa481-530 of human ASIC2 (Q16515-2, NP_899233). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Elephant, Bat, Rabbit, Horse (100%); Galago, Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken (92%); Zebra finch (85%).
LS-E12477 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-B156. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Human ACCN1
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B156 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B156 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

Lyophilized from PBS with 2% sucrose
50 µl Distilled water
Long term: -20°C, the use of 50% glycerol is recommended if storing aliquots in -20°C for long term use (up to 1 year); Short term (less than one week): +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

ACCN1 / ASIC2 is a member of the degenerin/epithelial sodium channel (DEG/ENaC) superfamily. The members of this family are amiloride-sensitive sodium channels that contain intracellular N and C termini, 2 hydrophobic transmembrane regions, and a large extracellular loop, which has many cysteine residues with conserved spacing. The member encoded by this gene may play a role in neurotransmission.
