Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-C87323. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.

Human ABCE1. Reported variants represent identical protein: NP_002931.2 NP_001035809.1
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 80kD band in Human Spleen lysates after 0.2 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 67.3kD according to NP_002931.2. The ~80kD band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies / lysates? Have any further splice variants / modified forms been reported?

About ABCE1

P61221 NM_002940 NP_002931.2

ABCE1 Antibody, ABC38 Antibody, HuHP68 Antibody, Ribonuclease 4 inhibitor Antibody, RLI Antibody, RNASELI Antibody, OABP Antibody, RNASEL1 Antibody, RNase L inhibitor Antibody, RNS4I Antibody

ABCE1 is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the OABP subfamily. Alternatively referred to as the RNase L inhibitor, this protein functions to block the activity of ribonuclease L.
