Recombinant human Amphiphysin.
Detects a ~128 kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Amphiphysin I on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human, mouse, rat, bovine, canine, hamster, monkey and rabbit origins. A 108 kD isoform may be observed in some tissues or cell lysates. The epitope is located within the carboxyl terminal region of Amphiphysin I (residues 545-695). Rat brain immunostaining using this antibody in immunofluorescence shows synaptic distribution.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3757 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3757 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.
