Pathology Services

LifeSpan's anatomic pathologists are available on a fee-for-service basis to analyze human or animal tissue specimens provided by our customers. LifeSpan specializes in the interpretation of IHC and in situ hybridization slides, has experience with over 4,000 antibodies to the major drug target families, and has provided confidential data to over 100 customers worldwide. LifeSpan can provide:

comprehensive pathology interpretations
high-throughput tabular reports
supporting high-resolution digital images

LifeSpan's pathologists have expertise in all aspects of general surgical pathology, including neuro, cyto, dermato, cancer, lung, cardiovascular, reproductive, and renal.

Imaging Services

LifeSpan's experienced imaging staff is available on a fee-for-service basis to produce high quality, digital images of specimens provided by our customers. Based upon the specific need of the customer, a custom imaging protocol can be created to provide the data needed.

Services features:

Light field

Dark field

2.5x – 60x magnification range

High- and low-resolution images (Tiff, Jpeg, etc)

Histological or signal selective imagery

High-throughput imagery

Imaging available for:

Stained samples (H&E and special stains)

Immuno-labeled samples

Frozen and fixed samples

Full specimens

Reporting

The data generated through LifeSpan’s Pathology and Imaging services can be accessed through LifeSpan’s secure online interface or delivered in various forms of data storage media (e.g. CD, DVD, hard drive).
