About WNK4

Q96J92 NM_032387 NP_115763.2

WNK4 Antibody, PHA2B Antibody, PRKWNK4 Antibody

PRKWNK4 is a cytoplasmic serine/threonine WNK type protein kinase that contains a cysteine in place of a lysine at the conserved location in subdomain II but still has kinase activity. Missense mutations in PRKWNK4 cause pseudohypoaldosteronism type II, a Mendelian trait featuring hypertension, increased renal salt reabsorption, and impaired K+ and H+ excretion.
