Specifications

Description
FHL1 antibody LS-B2495 is an unconjugated goat polyclonal antibody to FHL1 (SLIM) (aa261-272) from human. It is reactive with human, mouse, rat and other species. Validated for IHC, Peptide-ELISA and WB. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues. Cited in 1 publication.
Target
Human SLIM / FHL1
Synonyms

Host
Goat
Reactivity
Human, Mouse, Rat, Hamster (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Modifications
Unmodified
Immunogen
Peptide with sequence CNKRFVFHNEQVY, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_001440.2NP_001153171.1.
Epitope
aa261-272
Specificity
Human FHL1. This antibody is expected to recognise isoforms 2( NP_001440.1) and 5 (NP_001153171.1). Since June 2009 the second N residue in the immunizing peptide is no longer representative as it has been substituted by Q at position 284 of NP_001440.2. Variants NP_001440.2, NP_001153176.1 and NP_001153172.1 represent identical protein.
Applications
  • IHC
  • IHC - Paraffin (2.5 µg/ml)
  • Western blot (0.05 - 0.3 µg/ml)
  • Peptide Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (1:32000)

Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2495 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2495 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.
Presentation
TBS, pH 7.3, 0.02% Sodium Azide, 0.5% BSA
