Description
HSPD1 heat shock protein family D member 1 (HSP60) is a member of the mitochondrial chaperonin family that is required for the folding and assembly of proteins in the mitochondria. HSPD1 is also an interferon regulatory factor 3-interacting protein whose overexpression enhances activation of the IFN-beta promoter, contributing to the induction of the IFN-beta signaling pathway. Mutations in this gene cause some forms of hereditary spastic paraplegia. It is expressed in the adrenal, kidney, skeletal muscle, and many other tissues.

Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3679 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3679 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.
