Specificity
This antibody detects an ~70kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Hsp70 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human, monkey, rat, mouse, hamster, porcine, bovine, canine, sheep and beluga. This antibody is specific for the inducible form of Hsp70 (Hsp72) and does not cross-react with the constitutive Hsc70 (Hsp73).
