This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 289-300 of human Hsp90 protein.

A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross reactivity with Hsp90 from human, mouse, rat, monkey, chicken and Drosophila based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Reactivity of this antibody with Hsp90 from other species is unknown.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B375 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B375 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.
