Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Elephant, Panda, Bovine, Bat, Horse, Rabbit, Pig, Platypus (93%); Dog, Opossum (87%).

Specificity
FGFR1 may be used for immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemistry. Staining of the product is specifically inhibited with the FGFR1 immunizing peptide. No reaction with human FGFR2 and FGFR3 is detected. Species cross-reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human. Expected to cross-react with Mouse (100% identity with immunogen) and Rat (100% identity with immunogen) due to sequence homology. Not yet tested in other species.
