Specificity and Use

Collagen III antibody was raised against purified Pro Collagen Type III amino terminal peptide.
N-Terminus
Recognizes Human Procollagen, Type III: 100% (RIA; %), Bovine Procollagen, Type III: 100%, Human Procollagen, Type I: < 0.1%, Bovine Procollagen, Type 1: < 0.1%.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, RIA, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. IFA: 1:100-1:200. RIA: 1:100-1:200. RIA Titer: 1:10000. ELISA: 1:100-1:200. Immunohistochemistry: 1:500 (paraffin).

About Collagen III

Type-III Collagen is a fibrous scleroprotein in bone, cartilage, tendon, bone marrow stroma and other connective tissue. Mutations Collagen III are associated with type III and IV Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and with aortic and arterial aneurysms.
