Peptide analog of the C-Terminus of muscarinic M3 receptor covalently attached onto a carrier protein.

C-Terminus

Recognizes rat M3 Muscarinic Receptor. Does not recognize M1 Muscarinic Receptor (451-460), M1 Muscarinic Receptor, M2 Muscarinic Receptor (457-466), M2 Muscarinic Receptor, M4 Muscarinic Receptor (469-478), M4 Muscarinic Receptor, M5 Muscarinic Receptor (519-531) and M5 Muscarinic Receptor. Specific for the C-terminal of the M3 receptor.

Western Blot: 1:500Immunohistochemistry: 1:2500 using PLP-fixed rat brain sections (ABC technique)Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.Western Blot Protocol:1. After SDS-PAGE (on either 4-15% gradient gels or single percentage gels, such at 12% gels) and electrophoretic transfer to PVDFmembrane, block the membrane overnight with 2% normal goat serum in TBS/Tween-20 buffer.2. Wash 2X with TBS/Tween-20.3. Apply LS-C37395 at dilution of at least 1:500 (Note: higher dilutions may be needed). Use 2% normal goat serum in TBS/Tween-20 asbuffer for the primary antibody. Incubate for 2-4 hours.4. Wash 3X with TBS/Tween-20.5. Apply affinity purified IgG (HRP) goat x rabbit antiserum (dilution may vary depending upon supplier) in 2% normal goat serum inTBS/Tween-20. Incubate 1-2 hours. Note: greater sensitivity may be achieved using ABC techniques.6. Wash 4X for 5 minute/wash with TBS/Tween-20.7. Develop color using the enhanced DAB reaction.
