IHC-plus Antibodies ...because seeing is believing!
|
|
LSBio's IHC-plus antibodies have been tested and identified as being optimal for use in immunohistochemistry (IHC) against
formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues under LSBio's standardized IHC-plus protocol. Each antibody is tested
at multiple concentrations on more than 20 normal human tissue types, and when appropriate, multiple normal brain regions and/or
cancer types. Read more about LSBio's immunohistochemistry (IHC) validation
procedure.

Kidney stained in IHC with ACE2 antibody LS-B3197.
Angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) is an exopeptidase. Its organ- and cell-specific expression suggest a role in regulation of
cardiovascular and renal function, and fertility.
|
Kidney stained in IHC with ATG5 antibody LS-B1843.
Angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) is an exopeptidase. Its organ- and cell-specific expression suggest a role in regulation of
cardiovascular and renal function, and fertility.

Colon, Macrophages stained with CD14 antibody LS-B3012.
CD14 is a monocyte/macrophage marker. It cooperates with other proteins to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide.
|
|
Thymus stained with CD274 antibody LS-B480.
CD274 is highly expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, placenta and lung. It is expressed on activated T- and B-cells, dendritic cells,
keratinocytes and monocytes.
|
Heart stained with CD36 antibody LS-B1590.
CD36, a member of the class B scavenger receptor family, may function as a cell adhesion molecule. It is a major platelet glycoprotein,
serving as a receptor for thrombospondin.
|
Colon stained in IHC with DKK1 antibody LS-A2867.
DKK1 is a secreted protein which inhibits the WNT signaling pathway. It is associated with the presence of osteolytic bone lesions in multiple myeloma.
|
|
Skin, Hair Follicle stained with FAP antibody LS-A8027.
Fibroblast activation protein alpha (FAP) is expressed on activated stromal fibroblasts in carcinomas. Stromal fibroblasts play a role in
the development, growth and metastasis of carcinomas.
|
Liver stained with SLC2A2 antibody LS-B2421. Glucose transporter
GLUT2 (SLC2A2) is an integral membrane glycoprotein of the liver, islet beta cells, intestine, and kidney epithelium. It mediates facilitated
bidirectional glucose transport.
|
Liver stained with HP antibody LS-B2266.
Haptoglobin (HP) is secreted from liver. It binds hemoglobin in plasma, preventing loss of iron through the kidneys, protecting them from damage
and making the hemoglobin accessible to degradation.
|
|
Tonsil stained with LAG3 antibody LS-B2237.
Lymphocyte-activation protein 3 (LAG-3, CD223) binds to HLA class-II antigens. It is involved in lymphocyte activation and is found on
activated NK and T-lymphocytes.
|
Colon stained with OLFM4 antibody LS-B2055.
Olfactomedin 4 (OLFM4), a marker for the differentiation and progression of gastrointestinal cancers, is highly expressed in pancreatic
cancer, stomach cancer and colon cancer.
|
Small Intestine, Vessels stained with OLR1 antibody LS-B2202.
Oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor 1 (OLR1) binds, internalizes and degrades oxidized low-density lipoprotein and may be involved
in regulation of Fas-induced apoptosis.
|
|
Small Intestine stained with P4HB antibody LS-B2372.
P4HB encodes the beta subunit of prolyl 4-hydroxylase, a highly abundant multifunctional enzyme in the protein disulfide isomerase family.
|
Skeletal Muscle stained with RAB7A antibody LS-B1789.
RAB7 is localized to late endosomes and is important in the late endocytic pathway. Defects in RAB7A are the cause of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2B.
|
Testis stained with RORC antibody LS-B1797.
ROR gamma (RORC) is an orphan nuclear receptor. It may be essential for lymphoid organogenesis and may play an important regulatory role in thymopoiesis.
