Specificity and Use

YES1 / c-Yes antibody was raised against trpE fusion protein corresponding to aa 1-252 of human Yes Kinase.
aa1-252
Recognizes human p62 Yes Kinase, which occasionally appears as a doublet of 59kD and 62kD. Species cross-reactivity: human, mouse and chicken.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Not recommended for Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: 0.5-2 ug/ml detects Yes Kinase in RIPA lysates from Jurkat cells. Jurkat cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-Yes (1 ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
