Specificity and Use

STRADB / ALS2CR2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide CDFPDEKDSYWEF from the C-terminus of human STRADB (NP_061041.2; AAF71042.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Marmoset, Bovine, Dog (92%); Panda, Rabbit, Pig (85%).
C-Terminus
Human STRADB. This is expected to recognise both human isoforms: ILPIP-alpha (NP_061041.2) and ILPIP-beta (AAF71042.1).
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2747 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2747 was determined to be 3.75 ug/ml.
