Specificity and Use

SNAP23 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-TDKADTNRDR from the C-terminus of human SNAP23 (NP_003816.2; NP_570710.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla (100%); Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey (90%); Hamster, Elephant, Dog, Bat, Bovine, Horse, Pig, Turkey, Chicken, Drosophila (80%).

Human SNAP23. This antibody is expected to recognize both isoforms (NP_003816.2; NP_570710.1). Amino acid numbering in name refers to NP_003816.2 sequence.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:2000. Western blot: Approx 20+26kD bands observed in Human Peripheral Blood Mononucleocytes lysates (calculated MW of 17.8kD according to NP_570710.1 and of 23.4kD according to NP_003816.2). Recommended concentration: 0.2-0.6 ug/ml.
