Specificity and Use

PTGER4 / EP4 antibody was raised against a 16 AA peptide within 2nd extracellular domain of Human EP4 (1) coupled to KLH. An antibody made to this epitope has been shown to recognize 47 and 78kD EP4 bands in the kidney (2).
2nd Extracellular Domain
Recognizes human EP4 Receptor. No significant homology exist with other EP (1, 2 or 3) Receptors. Species sequence homology: monkey: 100%; rabbit, sheep and canine: 87%; mouse and rat: 81%.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml using ECL. ELISA: 0.5-1 ug/ml.
