Specificity and Use
Lipoteichoic Acid (LTA).
Recognizes lipoteichoic acid (LTA) of many gram + bacteria. Reactive with: Listeria monocytogenes (all serotypes), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Enterococcus faecium, Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis, group B Streptococcus (weak). Non-reactive with Clostridium perfringens. Other species not tested.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and ELISA. Immunofluorescence: 1:5-1:25. ELISA: 1:10-1:100.
PBS, pH 7.2, 0.1% sodium azide. No stabilizing proteins have been added.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
