Specificity and Use

FAP antibody was raised against purified, Sf 21-derived, recombinant human FAP (rhFAP; aa 26-760; Accession# Q12884).
aa26-760
Recognizes human Fibroblast Activation Protein alpha. Does not cross-react with recombinant human DPP6.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Flow Cytometry: 25 ug/ml. 10 ul of the diluted solution labels 1-2.5x10^5 WI-38 cells in a total reaction volume 200ul. The binding of unlabeled antibodies may be visualized by adding a secondary developing reagent such as an IgG (FITC) anti-mouse. ELISA: 2-8 ug/ml. Can be used in combination with biotinylated human FAP detection antibody and recombinant human FAP as the standard.

Packaging

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
