Specificity and Use

ACE2 antibody was raised against chinese hamster ovary cell line CHO-derived recombinant mouse ACE2 Gln18-Thr740 Accession # Q8R0I0.
Detects mouse ACE2 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In Western blots, approximately 40% cross-reactivity with recombinant human.
Western Blot, 0.1 µg/ml, Recombinant Mouse ACE-2. Immunohistochemistry, 5-15 µg/ml. Immunoprecipitation, 25 µg/ml, Conditioned cell culture medium spiked with Recombinant Mouse ACE-2.

Packaging

Lyophilized from 0.2 um filtered solution in PBS, trehalose
Sterile PBS. Resuspend to 500 ul
Store at -20°C prior to reconstitution. After reconstitution under sterile conditions aliquot and freeze at-20°C. Avoid frequent freeze thaws. Store undiluted.

ACE-2 in Mouse Kidney. ACE-2 was detected in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse kidney using Mouse ACE-2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody at 15 ug/ml overnight at 4°C. Tissue was stained using Anti-Goat HRP-DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Lower panel shows a lack of labeling if primary antibodies are omitted and tissue is stained only with secondary antibody followed by incubation with detection reagents.
